NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – A 25-year-old Senior Airman was arrested for growing marijuana inside a home.
Police conducted a search warrant in the 700 Block of Austin Court on September 9.
During the search marijuana, cocaine, marijuana growing lights and several firearms were located.
John Deming of Newport News was arrested for Possession of Schedule I or II Drug, Manufacture Marijuana, PWID Marijuana and Possession of a Firearm with Schedule I or II Drug X2.
Deming is a member of the 30th Intelligence Squadron, 497th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group, stationed at Langley Air Force Base.
