Missing North Carolina toddler found safe

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. – A 2-year-old girl reported missing early Tuesday has been found safe, according to WRAL.

An Amber Alert was issued for 2 year-old Nevaeh Richardson after she was reportedly taken from her home in Rocky Mount around 2 a.m.

She was found safe in the town of Sharpsburg around 10:20 a.m. That’s about 10 minutes away from where she was taken from.

No further details about her disappearance have been released.

Authorities said Richardson was taken by an unknown person driving a green 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor, with North Carolina license plate number PCD-9688.
