Suffolk park to host a free drive-in theater showing E.T. in October

SUFFOLK, Va. – Bennett’s Creek Park will transform into a free drive-in movie theater for a night!

On October 22 the park will have two screens and visitors can enjoy the 80’s classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial from the comfort of their cars, lawn chairs, or blankets.

Two full concession areas will be available with with food and treats as coolers and outside food will not be allowed in the movie area.

Pets are welcome as long as they are on a leash when not in the vehicle.

The park will open at 5 p.m. for parking and for children’s activities like games, crafts, and a bounce house.

The movie will begin at 7 p.m. and the park will be closed from 4 – 5 p.m. to set up for the event.
