NORFOLK, Va. – A man shot in Norfolk early Wednesday has died as a result of his injuries, according to Norfolk Police.
Police were called to the 600 block of W. 29th Street around 4:20 a.m.
When they arrived, they found 33-year-old Donta Lamb suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Lamb was transported to the hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.
In June 2019, Mark Willie Walker was charged with first-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and use of a firearm in commission of a felony in Lamb’s death. He will serve 30 years behind bars.
