Two arrested for Hampton robbery after foot pursuit by police

HAMPTON, Va. – Police arrested Jordan Ezekiel Wilson and Tyrone Lamont Blackmon in connection with a Tuesday afternoon robbery.

Jordan Ezekiel Wilson was charged with one count of Robbery, one count of Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony, and one count of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon in Hampton.

Officers were called to Darling Stadium shortly after 4 p.m. to investigate a report of a robbery.

The investigation revealed that a 22-year-old Hampton man was sitting in a vehicle when he was approached by two suspects whom displayed a firearm and demanded property. After receiving property from the victim, the suspects fled the area on foot.

Officers located both suspects a short time later and, after a brief foot pursuit, they were taken into custody.

The suspects were identified as 19-year-old Jordan Ezekiel Wilson and 19-year-old Tyrone Lamont Blackmon.

Tyrone Lamont Blackmon was charged with one count of Robbery and one count of Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony in Hampton.

They both remain in custody at the Hampton City Jail.
