HAMPTON, Va. – Power to over 400 customers has been restored after a car crashed into a power pole on Aberdeen Road in Hampton causing an outage, according to Dominion Virginia Power.
Emergency Dispatchers say the accident happened just before 1 a.m. and involved several vehicles but no one was hurt.
Initially, power was knocked out to almost 2,000 customers but most were able to be rerouted and restored.
The remaining customers were restored once the pole was repaired.
