Portsmouth 7-Eleven robbed at gunpoint early Sunday morning

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Police in Portsmouth are investigating the armed robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store early Sunday morning.

The 911 call came in at 2:19 a.m. for the store located at 3909 Victory Blvd.

According to police, the suspect showed the clerk a gun and demanded money. Once he got the money, the man ran away.

No one was hurt during the robbery.
