Va. Beach Police looking for man who pulled gun on Target loss prevention officer

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Police are looking for a man who hid over $400 worth of groceries and left the store without paying for them.

Police say the man came into the store, located at 4554 Virginia Beach Boulevard, on October 4 around 12:45 p.m.

Once he came inside, he grabbed a shopping cart and plastic container. He hid the groceries in the container and walked out of the store.

When a Target Loss Prevention employee approached the suspect, he knocked over the shopping cart, pulled out a gun and ran away.

There were no reported injuries.
