NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Police have arrested a man who led them on a chase that ended in a crash Wednesday night.
An officer attempted to stop a vehicle just before 11 p.m. on Galveston Boulevard. The vehicle refused to stop and took off at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle crashed into another vehicle at the intersection of Galveston Boulevard and E. Little Creek Road.
The driver, Marcus E. Gomillion was charged with Eluding Police, Dumping Trash on the Roadway, and Drinking in Public.
He is being held in the Norfolk City Jail on no bond.
