PORTSMOUTH, Va. – A man was shot in the hand early Friday in Portsmouth, according to Portsmouth Police.
Officers and medics were called to the 20 block of Buchanan Avenue around 12:40 a.m. Friday morning for a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
When they arrived, they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of the non-life threatening injury.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. There are no suspects in the case.
