VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Residents of a home in the Little Neck area of Virginia Beach met a very unexpected guest Sunday morning!
Two animal control officers responded to a home after a screech owl made its way down the chimney and into the house.
The officers safely captured the owl and re-released it outdoors.
Animal control encourages home owners to purchase a chimney cap to safe guard their chimneys from wildlife.
