Applications for Norfolk residents seeking help with heating fuel costs are due on November 14.

The program will help eligible citizens with the costs of home energy sources, including electricity, natural and liquid propane gas, oil, kerosene, coal and wood.

To be eligible for the program, the maximum monthly gross income for a one-person household cannot exceed $1,287. For a household with four people, the maximum monthly gross income should be $2,633.

According to the City of Norfolk, 120,000 households statewide received assistance.
