VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Lasiba Matsoake was found guilty of forcible sodomy this morning in his jury trial.

The jury deliberated for just an hour.

The victim in this case tearfully thanked the jury for finding Matsoake guilty.

Yesterday, she described the attack.

She said decided to go skinny dipping on 63rd Street back in 2004, when all of a sudden Matsoake came out of nowhere and sexually assaulted her.

News 3 spoke with the victim today.

"I feel so much relief that I get official legal representation that this happened. This guy is a repeat offender, and he won't be able to keep doing this," Amoreena Wade told News 3.

This is not his first sexual assault trial, or his second.

He was previously sentenced to 20-25 years in prison for a rape in Dare County, North Carolina, plus life in prison for another sexual assault in Virginia Beach.

The two victims from the previous trials were in the courtroom today in support of Wade.

"When they told me that the other victims were going to be there, that was when I broke down. These women are the only others in the world that really experienced what I did. It's an odd bond, and I'm glad they were there," Wade said.

She fears there could be more victims, but wants women to know, Matsoake will never be able to hurt anyone again.

"I really hope they're watching the news, and they know they he has been found guilty. He's never going to be out again unless he lives to be well over 100," Wade said.

Matsoake has another sexual assault trial coming up in December.
