CHUNKY, Miss. -- A Halloween hayride crash in Mississippi killed three people and hurt several others.
Highway patrol said a vehicle in Newton County rear-ended a flatbed trailer, which was carrying a group of people on the hayride.
According to CNN affiliate WTOK, two children and an adult were killed, and several others injured.
The crash happened in the small community of Chunky, which has an estimated population of about 325 people.
According to police, the flatbed truck was driving along Highway 80, a two-lane road, when a Ford F-150 rear-ended the trailer.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
