Police investigating after shots fired into Portsmouth home

PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Detectives need your help identifying a person who fired shots into a home in the 5600 block of Picadilly Lane.

On October 26 around 11:30 p.m., several people called 911 after hearing shots fired in the area of Brandon Square, near Picadilly Lane and Darby Close in the Churchland part of Portsmouth.

As officers were responding to the call, they received another call requesting police assistance for a home that had been struck by gunfire.

No one inside of the home at the time of the shooting was injured.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video walking toward a home before stopping and raising his arm. Several shots can be heard and the suspect  can be seen running away from the scene.
