POQUOSON, Va. - Poquoson Police have arrested a man accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl.
Police received a report that a teenage girl was sexually assaulted at a home on Pasture Road back in June 2016.
After investigating the allegations, officers arrested 57-year-old Teaford Nelson Webber of the 00 block of Pasture Road on November 1. He was charged with forcible sodomy, two counts of object sexual penetration and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
On November 7, Webber was charged with 13 counts of production/possession of child pornography.
Webber is currently being held in the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail without bond.
Detectives are still investigating the incident and additional charges are possible in this case.
Neighbors describe Webber as a quiet man. They say they would frequently see him in his yard tending to his lawn or boat. They say they are shocked by the allegations.
"Uncomfortable just that it is this close," said Melissa Lovett. "I don't have young kids but I see young kids up and down the street all the time and the neighbors have kids so yeah it's a little disturbing."
