Scattered showers today, then cool and windy tomorrow….Big changes are coming, all courtesy of a cold front.
As we move through our Wednesday afternoon, a cold front will sweep through, bringing scattered showers for the area, even during the afternoon drive. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies. Highs will reach the upper 50s and possibly the lower 60s. As the front moves farther to the south tonight, rain chances will go down, but our wind speeds will go up. We’re expecting winds to blow in from the north between 15 and 25 mph, with gusts to 30 mph. Those winds will help usher in some chilly weather tonight, with lows by early Thursday morning in the mid 40s.
As we move through the day on Thursday, we’re expecting cool, windy conditions. Highs will be in the upper 50s, but winds from the northwest between 10 and 20 mph will make it feel a bit cooler. A few morning clouds are possible. Otherwise, we’ll see plenty of sunshine through the afternoon.
By Veterans Day on Friday, high temperatures will climb into the mid 60s under mostly sunny skies. However, another cold front will dive into the area out of Canada, bringing some of the coldest air of the season in our direction. Highs will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s on Saturday. Overnight lows will dip into the mid 30s by Sunday morning. Then, by Sunday afternoon, we’ll see highs in the mid and upper 50s.
