It’s cool and windy today, but you haven’t seen anything yet….After today, we’ll see a warmup, but don’t get used to it. Much colder weather is headed our way for the weekend.
As we move through our Thursday afternoon, expect sun and clouds across the area. It will be cool out there, with high temperatures in the upper 50s. Winds will blow in from the northwest between 10 and 20 mph, with higher gusts along the immediate coast. Tonight, our winds will diminish a bit. Still, we’ll be chilly with low temperatures in the mid 40s under mostly clear skies.
On Friday, for Veterans Day, we’re expecting plenty of sunshine and a warmup. Highs will climb into the mid 60s under mostly sunny skies. Another cold front will move in Friday night, giving way to some of the coldest weather of the season. In fact, blustery winds from Canada will usher in highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s Saturday. Early Sunday morning, we’ll see temperatures in the low and mid 30s! By Sunday afternoon, highs will climb back into the upper 50s.
Early next week, highs will be in the lower 60s. But we’ll have to watch the forecast closely. Some of our forecast models are hinting at an area of low pressure forming along our coast, bringing wind and rain. We’ll keep an eye on it.
