PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Police are looking for the person responsible for shooting a man around 12:30 a.m. during a home invasion.
The shooting happened in the 1000 block of Melvin Drive.
Police say the man was shot in the lower extremities. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There was no word on whether or not the homeowner was the person shot.
