Norfolk residents displaced after electrical fire

NORFOLK, Va. – Occupants of a home in the 6000 block of Alexander Street are displaced due to smoke damage from an electrical fire, according to Battalion Chief Joe Milligan.

Units arrived at 11:49 a.m. and found fire coming from the front bedroom.

The fire was contained to the bedroom and deemed under control at noon.

One person was home at the time of the fire and escaped without injury.

No one else was injured.
