32-year-old Juan Roman Rosado has been charged with felonious assault and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Police are investigating a shooting that happened in the 3800 block of Magnolia Drive.
The call came in just after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
According to Detective Misty Holley, a man was struck by gunfire and taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say it appears that the victim and suspect know each other.
