JAMES CITY COUNTY, Va. – Virginia State Police believe that alcohol may have been a factor in a deadly crash that happened on Airport Road.
Police were called to investigate a single vehicle crash just after 1 a.m. Wednesday.
According to police, a Ford Taurus was travelling eastbound on Airport Road when it ran off the road and struck a tree.
The driver, 33-year-old Tuck Burnette of Williamsburg, died.
Police say Burnette was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
