Mitch McConnell re-elected Senate Majority Leader

WASHINGTON – Mitch McConnell has been re-elected Senate Majority Leader Wednesday in a closed-door meeting with Senate Republicans, McConnell aide Don Stewart said.

McConnell was formally nominated by Sen. Marco Rubio and Sen.-elect Todd Young of Indiana, two races the Kentucky Republican was heavily focused on, according to Stewart.
