Three people injured in shooting during party in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. – A shooting at a party on West 43rd Street Saturday night sent three people to the hospital, according to police.

Officers responded to the 800 block of West 43rd Street just before 12:30 a.m. for reports of gunshots heard.

When police arrived, they found a 20-year-old man outside with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.

Police also located another 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman at the scene with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. They were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.

All three victims are expected to be okay.

The only suspect description provided by police was that the suspect is a black male.
