Newport New, Va – Police are investigating an early morning shooting in the 5800 block of Jefferson Avenue.
Emergency dispatchers say one person was shot just after 2:00a.m. No information on the extent of the victim’s injuries or condition has been released.
Police have not said what led to the shooting.
