CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Crews are battling a one-story, single-family home in the 2900 block of King Arthur Circle.

The call came in just before 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Firefighters arrived five minutes later and saw smoke showing from the home.

The fire was under control at 8:12 a.m.

A spokesperson with the Chesapeake Fire Department says the fire started in a bedroom and no one was home at the time. The fire was contained to the bedroom, but there was smoke damage throughout the home.
