FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Fayetteville Police are investigating a homicide at a Wendy’s on Raeford Road.
One man is dead and two others were injured, police tweeted.
According to CBS affiliate WNCN, the victim that died has been identified as 31-year-old Brandon L. Ratliff of Norfolk, Va.
The two other victims are expected to be okay.
Police say the homicide and shooting were not a random act of violence.
WNCN reports that according to a preliminary investigation, a group arranged to meet each other in the Wendy’s parking lot. When the group met up, someone pulled out a gun and fired shots.
