Virginia ABC, Virginia Tourism Corporation offering vacation sweepstakes

VIRGINIA – The Virginia Department of Alcohol Beverage Control and the Virginia Tourism Corporation are sponsoring a Virginia Vacation Sweepstakes.

The sweepstakes is part of Virginia ABC’s “Make Spirits Bright” holiday campaign.

The winner will be able to choose from one of three Virginia vacation packages, each valued at $2,000, for three days and two nights for up to four people.

The packages include:

  • Virginia is for Mountain Lovers—A stay at Primland Resort in Patrick County to include a spa treatment, dinner and the choice of three activities including fly fishing, golf and horseback riding, to name a few.
  • Virginia is for Wine Lovers—A stay at Salamander Resort in Middleburg to include a spa treatment; an activity choice of horseback riding, tennis lesson, cooking, zip-lining or golf; dinners and winery tours.
  • Virginia is for Food Lovers—A stay at Richmond’s Quirk Hotel to include dinners, art gallery tours, local brewery tours and a “Real Richmond Food Tour” with a choice for dinner at one of four of the city’s most acclaimed restaurants.

Twenty runners-up will $100 Virginia ABC gift cards.

“Virginia ABC is proud to once again partner with Virginia Tourism for this exciting sweepstakes opportunity,” said Virginia ABC Chairman Jeffrey Painter.  “It is a great way to connect consumers to travel in Virginia and showcase the commonwealth’s outstanding beauty and its fine spirits, wine and food.”

No purchase is necessary to enter the contest. To contest is open to legal Virginia residents who are 21 years old and up.

Entries will be accepted in Virginia ABC stores until December 5. Winners will be notified by January 15, 2017.
