YORK Co., Va. – State police are investigating a fatal crash that happened on westbound I-64 on Tuesday.
Police say the accident happened at 7:40 p.m. east of Barlow Road in York County.
A Honda Accord was traveling westbound on I-64 and ran off the roadway.
The driver struck a tree and has been identified as 32-year-old Tramaine LaShawn Bethune.
Police say it is unknown at this time if alcohol played a role in the incident but Bethune was not wearing his seatbelt.
