William & Mary student assaulted near campus, police look for suspect

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – A William & Mary student has been assaulted near campus on Friday night.

According to a William & Mary tweet, the assault happened on Dillard Street near Richmond Road.

The vehicle involved in the incident is described as a red four door hatchback.

A spokesperson from the school said the suspect is described as a middle aged man who is short in stature and has balding hair.

He was wearing a dark grey/blue sweatshirt and blue jeans.
