NORFOLK, Va. – Norview High School student Tyler Marshall won the Congressional App Challenge for Virginia’s 3rd Congressional District.
Marshall, a senior in the Leadership Center for the Sciences and Engineering program, created an app called “HourLogger” for the competition.
The apps were judged on the quality of the idea, implementation of the idea and coding and programming skills.
The contest, hosted by Congressman Bobby Scott, was aimed at encouraging students to learn how to code by creating their own apps.
