VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Police are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital.
The call came in Saturday evening at 5:51 p.m. about a shooting in the 700 block of Hayes Avenue.
When officers arrived to the scene they located a 15 to 17 year-old female suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital.
At this time, there is no suspect information.
