NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – A 46-year-old man died at the hospital early Tuesday after being shot multiple times on Monday night in Newport News.
At 10:16 p.m., Newport News Communications received a call of a shooting on Ash Avenue.
When Newport News Police officers arrived, they found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries and passed away at 1:08 a.m. He has been identified as 46-year-old Christopher Grant.
Police say there is no suspect information at this time.
