LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The struggling Los Angeles Rams have made it official and have parted ways with head coach Jeff Fisher. The Rams started the season with a 3-1 start, but have lost eight of their last nine contests since then. The firing comes after the Rams 42-14 loss to the Falcons at home on Sunday.
Fisher is tied with Dan Reeves for the most losses for a head coach in NFL history. Fisher’s overall record is 173-165-1 over 22 seasons. This will be the 10th consecutive losing season for the Rams. Prior to the start of the season, Fisher had signed a contract extension through the 2018 season. The Rams have not won a game at home since September 18.
