Southside tops the Peninsula 24-12 in the 757 All-Star Classic

NORFOLK, VA. - Rashard Russell of Lake Taylor snagged a late interception to finish off a 24-12 Southside victory over the Peninsula. Rae'Shawn Griffin started the scoring, breaking a 52-yard touchdown for the Southside on their first drive.

The game, put on by the 757 All-Star Game Group, featured 90 players from all over Hampton Roads. The teams were split into schools from the Peninsula region, and schools on the southern side of the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel.
