VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Travel Lodge on 2698 Shore Drive was evacuated due to a barricade situation Sunday morning.
Police say a suicidal man barricaded himself in one of the hotel rooms.
Hotel guests were moved to another location for their welfare and safety, according to police.
The man eventually surrendered to police without incident. He is being further evaluated.
