PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Police are investigating after a man showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound Tuesday evening.
Officers were called to Maryview Hospital around 8:10 p.m.
According to police, the victim was shot in his leg near the 2400 block of High Street.
He is expected to recover from his injury.
