VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – U.S. Coast Guard crews are searching the waters of the Chesapeake Bay off the coast of Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Hampton after receiving a ‘mayday’ call on Tuesday night.
The call was received around 9 p.m.
Crews searching Tuesday night but did not find anything.
The crews returned Wednesday morning to pick up the search but nothing was found and the search has since been suspended.
