All clear given after bomb threat called in to Norview Middle School

NORFOLK, Va. – Authorities in Norfolk have investigated and cleared a bomb threat that was called into Norview Middle School on Tuesday morning.

Norfolk Police dispatchers say the threat was called in at 7:35 a.m.

Norfolk City Public Schools spokeswoman Karen Tanner says the school was searched and students were able to go to classes as normal.

Tuesday is the first day back to school for students after winter break.
