VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A man accidentally shot himself while attempting to clean his gun, according to police.
On Saturday around 4 p.m., dispatch received a call for service in the 1600 block of Michigan Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a man with a non-life threatening gunshot injury.
He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
