PORTSMOUTH, Va. – A man has died in a crash on I-264 eastbound at Greenwood Drive.
Police received a call about the crash on Monday at approximately 12 p.m.
According to state police, 63-year-old Brian Frawley was driving on I-264 when he tried to exit the interstate. Frawley drove off the roadway and hit several trees, causing him to be entrapped inside the vehicle.
Portsmouth Fire and Rescue crews removed him from the car. He died from his injuries on the way to Maryview Hospital.
