NORFOLK, Va. - Police are investigating a double shooting that happened Sunday afternoon.
Officers were called to the 800 block of W. 38th Street around 4:45 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a woman and a toddler suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The child was taken to CHKD for treatment and the woman was transported to Sentara Norfolk General.
Norfolk Police say the two victims appear to have non-life threatening injuries and should recover.
