ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – A death investigation is underway after a person was found deceased at a gas station.
On May 26, officers responded to Family Fare Gas Station on 1008 17 South to a call for an unresponsive person.
Emergency responders determined that the person was deceased.
The investigation is ongoing.
