Virginia Beach Police investigating fatal pedestrian crash on Little Neck Road

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Virginia Beach Police are investigating a fatal accident on Little Neck Road where a person died after being hit by a car.

It happened just after 8 p.m. on Sunday evening on Little Neck Road, near Virginia Beach Boulevard.

According to police, preliminary investigation shows the car turned onto Little Neck Road from Virginia Beach Boulevard and was heading northbound when a pedestrian stepped into the lane of traffic and was hit.

An adult man was pronounced dead on scene by EMS. He has been identified as 70-year-old Terry Francis Fransher.

The Virginia Beach Police Department’s Fatal Accident Crash Team is actively investigating this incident.
