NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – September is Hunger Action Month, and The Mariners’ Museum and Park is offering a discount for history lovers who are dedicated to fighting hunger.
Throughout the month of September, the museum is offering $5 admission to every visitor who donates a non-perishable food item.
The promotion is made possible through a partnership with the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank.
