NORFOLK, Va. – The Virginia Zoo is hosting a full day of free family fun for military families.
Military Appreciation Day takes place on October 8.
Admission will be free for active duty, retired military reserve/guard members and eligible family members.
In addition to zoo exhibits, there will be children’s games, inflatable rides and face painting.
