NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk State President Eddie Moore, Jr. announced Monday that he will retire by the end of the year.
Moore was hired in Fall 2013 and is the university’s sixth president.
Under Moore’s presidency, NSU’s good standing with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges was restored.
The Board of Visitors will soon name an interim president and begin searching for a new president.
