PORTSMOUTH, Va. – Portsmouth Police Department responded to a gunshot wound Saturday evening in the 500 block of Madison St.
Dispatch received a 911 call at 9:02 p.m. that a male had been shot.
Officials say that the man was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The extent of his injuries are unknown, and no other information is available.
