VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A teenager was hit by a vehicle near Green Run High School on Monday morning.
Virginia Beach Police say the teen was crossing the road at Dahlia Drive and S. Independence Boulevard in the crosswalk when he was hit by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and ultimately cited for Failure to Yield Left-hand Turn.
The teen was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
