VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Scott Vachris, the Chief Deputy of Virginia Beach Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, has been fired for mishandling a criminal case.
The case he is accused of mishandling is still pending.
Vachris will be in court for a motions hearing on March 5.
